This venue has efficient service, a decent location not far from a bistro, the Bluebell Railway, and a city, and a reasonably priced downstairs bar which are perfect after visiting friends for the day.

Only stayed there o/n before the Brighton marathon. We did eat in the restaurant and were very happy with the quality of the food. The bar area was comfortable - just a shame that I was alcohol free in preparation for the marathon!
Everything was good for us - even the continental breakfast delivered to our room as I needed to eat early for the marathon.

The Birch Hotel is a great value, unique hotel with excellent service. the staff is well-mannered and highly efficient, always with a smile. the hotel's location is particularly good, situated in a very quiet area right by a bistro and the Bluebell railway where you can enjoy dinner.
